Portrait de Soi – workshops with Anaïs Docteur

This first collective offering project on the Pass Culture platform led to three guided tours of the exhibition “Au-delà des apparences : Bayeté Ross Smith” in Mougins and three in-class workshops with intervening photographer Anaïs Docteur.
The artistic practice of photographer Bayeté Ross Smith encourages us to question our preconceived notions and biases, by inviting us to exaline the cultural perspectives and prejudices that influence our perception of narratives, and, by extention, the concept of truth. Centered on this theme, the classes began a writing project on the notions of self-representation and identity to accompany the shooting of their portraits.
