Caimi & Piccinni

Jean-Marc Caimi and Valentina Piccinni are an internationally renowned photographic duo specializing in documentary photography, with a particular focus on the relationship between humans and territory, as well as and socio-political transformations. Since 2013, they have combined a documentary approach with a contemporary, personal photographic language, creating rich, multidimensional visual narratives. Their work is regularly published in leading international media such as Le Monde, Libération, Epic, Society, The Guardian, National Geographic, Die Zeit, Wired, L’Espresso, etc. Their projects have won prestigious awards including the Sony World Photography Award and the Earth Photo Award. Authors of several critically acclaimed books, they have exhibited their work at major international photography festivals and galleries.
